- Tissue Pickup – Sitting comfortably on a chair place a tissue, towel or pillow cover on the floor under your foot. Gently pick it up by curling your toes around it. Hold the tissue for 20 seconds and repeat 10 times each foot.
- Tip Toes – stand at a countertop or place a chair in front of you and place both hands on it firmly. Gently raise yourself up on your tip toes hold and come down slowly. This is not only great for stretching the toes and feet but is very good for your calf muscles.
- Big Toe Stretch – Stretch your big toe toward your body as far as it can go. This will get a wonderfully deep stretch into the toe muscles and improves stiffness when carried out regularly. You can do this exercise almost anywhere.
- Toe Splay – spread all your toes out to the sides as far as you can, hold and repeat.
